The City of Gassville is accepting applications for the position of a full-time POLICE OFFICER. Applicant must be certified and meet all requirements of law enforcement standards and training for the State of Arkansas. Starting salary is $16.50 hr. with benefits including: paid health insurance, LOPFI retirement (officer contributes 3.5 percent city contributes 24 percent), sick time, and vacation. The City Police Department works 12 hour shifts. Applications may be obtained at City Hall located at 204 S. School St. during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at the city website: wwwcityofgassville.org in the police department tab.
